What We Do
Established in 2021 by a young entrepreneur, Stevie Bonaccorsi, who set out to fill a need for his community. During the heart of the pandemic when people could only gather outside in a safe environment, Stevie was frustrated with the high cost and lack of available firewood. He set out to source local wood for his community that he and a team of college students could deliver right to your door.
Stevie comes from a large, well known local family and has worked for many years in the service industry which has taught him what it means to provide a quality product with outstanding customer service. Bono Fires wood is sourced locally from seasoned hardwoods, moisture tested, and split into ideal burn size pieces by his team of hard working guys. Order Bono Fires firewood delivered and stacked in a variety of sizes right to your door and you are guaranteed a great experience.
Currently, we offer wood in 1/4 Face, 1/2 Face, Full Face, Two Face and Full Cord sizes and deliver to Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park, Elmwood Park and other neighboring towns.
The Founder
Stevie Bonaccorsi is a graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School and currently attends University of Illinois Chicago studying Business Management. He is employed by Alpine Subs, runs car detail business and dabbles in the stock market. Stevie is a motivated, hard worker with a desire to be the best that he can be at everything he tries.
He has a mind for business and an understanding of what you need to succeed. He developed the business with his close friends in mind, setting up a team of Bono Fire Men. These Bono Fire Men are now working hard earning tuition money and having a damn good time.
The Team
Being a Bono Fire Man has become a dream job for many of Stevie’s friends and family members. They work hard daily in shifts, cutting, splitting and delivering the wood around their community. They not only are enjoying a flexible summer job but also love earning money working alongside their pals.
